Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data when you visit myhistamate.com (including myhistamate.netlify.app), subscribe to the newsletter, join the waiting list or download a guide.
We process data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law no. 190/2018. By using the site and submitting the forms, you confirm that you have read the information below.
1. Who is the data controller
The MyHistamate site is operated by SC REILIN TREE SRL, registered with the Romanian Trade Register under no. J2014001104232, tax identification number RO31699074, with its registered office at Intrarea Mărgăritarului no. 2, ground floor, room 1, Otopeni, Ilfov County, Romania ("we", "the controller").

2. What data we collect
We collect only the data you give us voluntarily, through the forms on the site:
- Your email address — when you subscribe to the newsletter, join the waiting list or download a guide. (required)
- Your first name — only if you choose to provide it. (optional)
Simply by visiting the site, our hosting provider may automatically process technical data (IP address, browser type, date and time of access) for security and operational purposes. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g. health data). Please do not send us such information through the forms.
3. Why we process your data and the legal basis
- Newsletter and communications — we send you new articles and app news. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- App waiting list — we let you know when we launch the app. Legal basis: your consent.
- Delivering the PDF guides — we send you the resource you requested. Legal basis: your consent.
- Site security — protection against abuse and spam. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 6), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects on you.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent or trade your data. We make it available to certain service providers (processors) strictly to operate the site and our communications:
- Netlify, Inc. — hosting the site and processing/storing the forms (including the addresses submitted).
- Email marketing provider — when we start sending newsletters through a dedicated service (e.g. Brevo), we will add it here.
These providers process the data solely on our instructions and have their own confidentiality and security obligations.
5. International data transfers
Some providers (e.g. Netlify) may store or process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the USA). In such cases, the transfer is made with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Your rights under the GDPR
- Access — to find out what data we hold about you.
- Rectification — to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure (the "right to be forgotten") — to request that your data be deleted.
- Restriction — to ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Portability — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Objection — to object to the processing.
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time, as easily as you gave it (e.g. the unsubscribe link in every email).
How to exercise your rights: send a request to hello@myhistamate.com. We respond within 30 days at the latest (which may be extended, with notice to you, in complex cases). Exercising your rights is free of charge.
Right to lodge a complaint: if you are unhappy, you may contact the supervisory authority. As we are established in Romania, the lead authority is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), B-dul General Gheorghe Magheru no. 28-30, Sector 1, Bucharest · www.dataprotection.ro · anspdcp@dataprotection.ro. If you are based in another EU country or in the UK, you may also contact your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter or on the waiting list. If you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, we delete the associated data within a reasonable period (usually within 30 days), except where the law requires us to keep it longer.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not monitor you for marketing purposes. We only use the technical processing strictly necessary for it to work.
- Fonts: we load them through Google Fonts; when they load, your IP address may be processed by Google as an independent controller.
- If we add analytics tools or other cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
9. Children's data
The site is not directed at people under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent/guardian and believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage on the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time (for example, when we add new services). The current version, with the date of the last update, will always be available on this page.
