Your first week after diagnosis
What to do when you've just found out you have HIT. Step by step, no panic.
Content & community for histamine intolerance
I'm Cătălina. I have histamine intolerance, and I spent months trying to understand what was happening to my body. MyHistamate is where I put everything I've learned — not to lecture you, but because I wish it had existed when I started.
I'm not a doctor. I'm not a nutritionist.
I'm a person with HIT.
My story
Itching with no explanation. Migraines that wouldn't ease for days. Fatigue that never lifted no matter how much I slept. And moments when I was both exhausted and wired at the same time — it has a name: Wired and Tired. And it's histamine in the brain, not anxiety.
The histamine intolerance diagnosis came with relief and frustration at the same time. Relief that there was an explanation. Frustration that there's almost no practical tool to help you manage it in real life — at a restaurant, on holiday, on the bad hormonal days.
That's how MyHistamate started. Not from a business idea, but from a real need I live every single day.
I'm a person with HIT who learned a great deal from my own experience, and who wants to make the road easier for someone else.

Coming soon · the MyHistamate app
I'm building an app that does, automatically, everything I now do by hand to keep my histamine under control. I can't reveal everything yet — but it's something I wholeheartedly wish had existed from the start.
It's not ready yet. But if you'd like to be among the first to try it:
