In short: from today MyHistamate can be installed from the App Store and from Google Play, in Romania. The first seven days are free and complete, with no card. And if you were a tester, you do not have to do anything: everything you logged has stayed in your account.

How to start with the app

You install the app from the App Store or from Google Play, you make an account and you log your first day. It takes around two minutes, and the app only asks what needs asking: what you ate, how you felt, how you slept. I wrote about this at length in the article on how I log a day in two minutes.

If you want to know in advance what awaits you when you open it, the home screen is explained card by card.

And if I can give one single piece of advice: log a few days in a row, even in a rush. The first summary comes at the end of the week, and only there does the useful part begin — when you see conclusions and trends written down.

What you can use in the first seven days

Everything. The trial is the complete version of the app: you have the diary, the food list with your own tolerances, the assistant, scanning the menu at a restaurant, the reintroductions, the summaries and the report you can take to your doctor.

No card is asked for to start the trial and nothing renews by itself. If at the end you do not choose a plan, the app simply stops, and the data stays yours — you can export it or delete it at any time. You can also carry on with the diary, but without the Assistant's features and without the restaurant scans

What it costs, after

Standard 49.99 lei a month, Premium 99.99 lei a month.

The difference between them is not in the features, but in how much you use the assistant and the menu scanning: less on Standard, more on Premium.

If you were a tester

You do not have to do anything. Everything you logged has stayed in your account, and the app updates itself from the store.

Thank you all once again. The published version looks the way it does because of you, and it shows in the small things, the ones you only notice if you use the app day after day.

What the app does not do

It does not diagnose, it does not recommend treatments and it does not tell you that a food is safe for you. It is a tool for observation, and the decisions stay between you and your doctor. I wrote separately, at length, about what MyHistamate does not do — it seemed to me just as important as the list of features.

If you try it, I would like to know what you found useful and what is missing. And if you are tired of apps that promise a lot, I understand you very well — and that is exactly why I think a week of logging is worth it, so you can see with your own eyes whether it is of use to you or not.

Remember: MyHistamate is an informational tool — it does not diagnose and does not replace the advice or treatment recommended by your doctor.
